Project IV/22

DeLorean

A short while ago I got some gifts, among them a Metal Earth Models kit: the DeLorean. The special feature of this kit was that it was painted, so the end result wouldn't be a shiny steel finish. Exciting!

The difficulty-o-meter didn't spin to the extreme right, which was a relief. The model was a complicated one, even though it didn't have many round shapes.

The pieces

So, there was three (or almost two and half) sheets worth of buildables, as the C plate was clearly smaller than its siblings. Most of the pieces were painted either black or light grey, a few in actual colours and the rest were unpainted.

What easily breakable nervewracker lived in the top left corner of the C plate?

This was going to be a project to behold. Some pieces were really worrysome in their shapes and based on my assumptions, also their apparent flimsiness. Maybe I was going to be wrong once again.
